Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra cases & screen protectors

Choosing the best Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra case

The Galaxy S22 Ultra stands out with its large 6.8-inch edge display, integrated S Pen, and robust camera module. Because of its size and premium build, choosing the right case is about balancing protection with your daily usability.

Wallet cases vs. Slim cases

If you want to keep your pockets light, a wallet case is an excellent choice. Made from durable PU or genuine leather, these cases cover both the front and back of the phone while offering slots for your ID and bank cards. Many also fold into a kickstand, which is perfect for streaming media hands-free.

Conversely, if you prefer to maintain the sleek profile of your phone, a slim silicone or clear TPU case is ideal. These provide enhanced grip and protect the glass back from scratches while keeping the device pocket-friendly. Importantly, our tailor-made cases feature precise cutouts, ensuring you can always easily access and remove your S Pen without having to take the cover off.

Magnetic cases and wireless charging

The Galaxy S22 Ultra supports up to 15W Qi wireless charging, but it does not feature built-in magnets. If you frequently use a magnetic car mount or a magnetic desk stand, you will need a case with an integrated magnetic ring. This adds magnetic functionality to your device, allowing it to snap securely onto your accessories while still letting you charge wirelessly on standard Qi pads. Just keep in mind that particularly thick wallet cases might block the wireless charging signal.

Securing the curved display

The S22 Ultra’s edge-to-edge curved screen requires specific protection to prevent peeling and ensure full coverage.

• TPU Film: A flexible, ultra-thin plastic film that easily wraps around the curved edges. It provides excellent scratch resistance and ensures flawless compatibility with the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
• Tempered Glass: Offers superior drop and impact protection. Look for 3D curved glass designed specifically to hug the S22 Ultra's edges seamlessly.

FAQ

Does the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra have MagSafe?

No, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra does not have built-in magnets for magnetic charging natively (MagSafe is an Apple technology). However, you can buy a magnetic case featuring an integrated metal ring, which allows you to use magnetic car holders and accessories perfectly with your Samsung device.

Can I charge my Galaxy S22 Ultra wirelessly with a case on?

Yes, the Galaxy S22 Ultra supports standard Qi wireless charging. Most silicone, TPU, and thin leather cases allow the wireless charge to pass through without issue. However, very thick wallet cases or covers with heavy metal components may block the connection, requiring you to remove the phone before charging.

Will a Galaxy S22 or S22 Plus case fit the S22 Ultra?

No. The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a completely unique design with sharp corners, a built-in S Pen slot, and a much larger 6.8-inch screen. Cases designed for the standard S22 (6.1-inch) or S22 Plus (6.6-inch) will not fit. You must choose a case specifically manufactured for the S22 Ultra.

Does a screen protector affect the S22 Ultra fingerprint scanner or S Pen?

Our TPU films and specially designed tempered glass protectors are fully compatible with both the S Pen and the ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor. We highly recommend turning on "Touch Sensitivity" in your phone's display settings and re-registering your fingerprints after applying a new screen protector for the best results.
